Warm and Soft Breezy Days for Dallas Realtors Conference

Throughout the Realtors Conference week, guests at the Omni Hotel can anticipate mild spring temperatures, a mix of clouds and sun, and windy winds, with a slight risk of thunderstorms in the middle of the week.

A Sunny Day with Windy Afternoons

Dallas's weather for the week of April 18–24 is expected to begin moderate and nice. AccuWeather predicts sunny skies, highs in the upper 70s, with light morning breezes for Friday, April 18. The trend is expected to continue on Saturday and Sunday, with low 80s temperatures and afternoon breezes that might reach 25 to 30 mph.

A cold front is anticipated to move in on Tuesday, April 22, resulting in a possibility of isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Nonetheless, the remainder of the week will improve again by Wednesday, with temperatures rising to the mid-70s and reduced humidity.

“This is pretty typical for North Texas in April,” said Kaitlin McCoy, meteorologist for WFAA Channel 8. “We usually see warm days, but springtime fronts can stir up short-term storms.”

What Else You Should Know! : Allergies, The Moon, and Etc.

Allergy sufferers should come prepared. Tree pollen levels remain high especially from oak and elm according to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. Grass pollen is also beginning to appear in daily counts, which may worsen symptoms for those with seasonal allergies.

A waxing gibbous moon will shine brightly over the weekend under mostly clear skies. On Tuesday, April 22, the Full Pink Moon will rise, though cloud cover from potential storms may obstruct the view.

“We’re seeing above-average wind gusts this week, which can stir up dust and pollen,” said Dr. Alicia Romero, an allergist and contributor to WeatherHealthNow.com. “Staying indoors during peak wind hours in the afternoon can help reduce exposure.”

Record highs for Dallas this week range from 93°F to 96°F, but this year’s forecast remains far below those extremes. No severe weather alerts are currently in effect, but local news outlets recommend staying aware of storm updates on Tuesday.
